Our Partners
Working together to make Peer Support possible

Whatever it takes
Whatever It Takes Trust (WIT) is a peer support organisation for mental health and addiction consumers who live in Hawke's Bay. We deliver a range of services to assist with the recovery of people experiencing mental health and addiction difficulties by partnering and come alongside to help move towards wellness and living independently in our community.

Mental Health Advocacy and Peer support Trust
MHAPS is free and confidential for anyone experiencing mental distress and/or an addiction. We can:
listen to your story… value you and what you know…
help make sense of your experiences… support your voice to be heard…
work with you towards meaningful change.

Junction Peer support and Advocacy
We are a passionate and thriving mental health and addiction service provider, established in 1996. We are strongly committed to providing an environment where people living with an experience of mental illness and/or addiction feel safe and supported, and can develop meaningful relationships and skills that will facilitate community inclusion and participation. We provide a suite of services designed to support people's chosen recovery paths.

Mind and body
Mind and Body is a for-peer-by-peer organisation. All Mind & Body staff have lived experience of mental distress or addiction, providing an empathy and understanding of what people may be experiencing. The guiding principle of all Mind & Body services is that every person is capable of flourishing in life.

Centre 401 Trust
We offer a range of ways to benefit from the unique wisdom which we all bring to the Centre from our own experiences of recovery. People can learn and share this wisdom at some of our weekly workshops or by making an appointment with a Quest worker to have regular catch ups to move forward in recovery and work through challenges you are experiencing.

Kites Trust
Kites advocates equal opportunities for, and consumer leadership by people with mental distress and/or addiction issues. Some of the ways we promote social inclusion and full citizenship rights are through: consumer leadership, peer support, facilitation, research and evaluation, anti-stigma and discrimination education and training, systemic advocacy, and through active partnerships & co-design.

Balance Whanganui
Balance is a Peer Governed and run NGO dedicated to support people through Intentional Peer Support, Advocacy, Education and Creating Change.
